The National Allergy Council is a partnership between the
Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia (A&AA).
We are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health to implement the National Allergy Strategy
and we aim to reduce the impact of allergies on the Australian community and health system.

Shared Care for Allergy

Launched
allergy assist™

allergy assist™ is a free, national online service providing rural doctors with expert allergy education and support. Helping to improve access to quality allergy care for everyone, especially those in rural areas. 
Best practice guidelines

New eczema
videos

We have developed videos to help parents and caregivers manage eczema in babies. Videos include how to use moisturisers, bleach baths, wet dressings and steroid creams.
Food Service

New website and
training courses

We have refreshed and updated the Food Allergy Aware website. We have also updated our free All about Allergens online food allergen management training. 
Allergy250K

Allergy 250K
camps

We are planning our next Allergy 250K young adult camp in July 2025. Follow @allergy250k on Facebook & Instagram for the latest camp highlights and announcements.

The National Allergy Council is a partnership between the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia (A&AA).

Through our important projects we deliver a wide range of educational resources and training programs to help improve the lives of five million Australians living with allergy. 

We advocate for improving access to quality allergy care and improved management of allergies, particularly severe allergies across all sectors of the community.

National Allergy Strategy

The National Allergy Council continues to implement the National Allergy Strategy.

Implementing the National Allergy Strategy will help to improve the health and quality of life of Australians with allergic diseases, and minimise the burden of allergic diseases on individuals, their carers, healthcare services and the community.
